Using the Tool

SmartInvoiceGen provides a free form for preparing PDF invoices and free downloadable templates. By using the site, you agree to use it for lawful billing and to review the document before sending it. You may use and edit the templates for personal or commercial billing.

Your Billing Details

You are responsible for the information, prices, tax rate, dates, and payment instructions you enter. The generator applies a percentage tax rate to the subtotal; it does not determine your tax obligations. Currency selection labels prices and does not perform currency conversion. Templates contain sample figures that must be updated manually.

Drafts and Downloaded Files

The generator holds drafts in the current browser tab. It does not provide an invoice database, automatic backups, payment tracking, or bookkeeping integrations. Save your PDF before reloading or closing the page. Browser edits to a downloaded HTML template are not automatically saved back to the original file.

Third-Party Services

The site uses hosting services, on-demand PDF libraries, advertising, and a contact form provider. Optional analytics can be enabled through site configuration. Those services have their own terms and data practices. See our privacy policy for the implementation's data flows.

Availability and Accuracy

The tool is provided as described on the site. It is not a substitute for accounting, legal, or tax advice, and it does not guarantee that a document meets every jurisdiction's requirements. Review calculations and exported page breaks. Features and availability may change. Our existing disclaimer explains these limitations.
